Fit4Farming with Farmstrong

Fitness expert and Fit4Farming cycle tour leader Ian Handcock explains how research has shown that the health and fitness of New Zealand farmers could improve. Ian was one of a core peloton of 20 farmers riding from the Hauraki Plains to Bluff to raise awareness about the importance of keeping fit on the farm. “Our message to farmers is get out on the bike or go for walk or run and get your heart rate up,” says Ian. This clip also features insights on fitness from a range of other farmer/riders from the Fit4Farming peloton.
