    Thank you, very intetesting.
    I have always had trouble sleepi ng and the one thing that really helped was the breathing method called ‘478’ breath in through the nose counting to 4, hold breath untill you count to 7, then exhale through the mouth counting to 8. Make sure when exhaling g you empty the lungs out. Feeling the tension leave the body is so good, usually only takes 2 or 3 breaths and I’m asleep:)

      Hi Barb,
      I am Matt who helped produce the sleep podcast and other material. You are right. Good sleep hygiene is to relax before bed and 4-7-8 breathing is a great method to achieve that. It releases tension, lowers heart rate – vital things to battle that feeling of being anxious about getting to sleep. So you have provided a good tip for others to consider… thanks
